Parent Support Program
We love supporting kids, helping them learn and grow is rewarding. We find it just as rewarding to be a supportive resource for parents. Parenting can be a joy and parenting can be frustrating. We are here to support your family in both situations. There is no manual that simply explains the in’s and out’s of parenting. There are however, an abundance of resources. In fact, it seems that these days there are so many that it can become confusing and overwhelming.
Since we know the personality of each child in our program, we can often assist parents with finding the right type of information for your specific needs. No more wading through parenting magazines, finding articles that promise solutions and then wondering if the author even has children or any educational background???
Set Your Appointment
Starting this Fall parents will be able to schedule appointments to ask parenting questions, give feedback, collaborate with your school and get to know each other better. First and foremost we want to talk about your family’s needs and goals. From potty training to biting, we have great information to help when you need it. If you are really struggling with something and we don’t not have the right expertise, we can still help. Often times referrals to people we have known and respected for years can be priceless to families. Trusted specialists who are happy to answer questions or consult on a variety of parenting topics are right around the corner. We can help to take the stress out of finding the right specialist for your needs.
Likewise, we know that you have solutions, ideas and resources that we don’t know about. We love to hear them and understand that with how busy life can be sometimes those solutions or ideas go unsaid and untapped. These meetings will be a great way for both of us to step out of our busy schedules and give time to our connected efforts in child education and child rearing!
During your first support meeting we will also take a look at the online Forum together. We will get your username and password set-up and cruise around the forum to help you get oriented and comfortable with the format.
